There were posters in every school to show you a glimpse of the world. My husband's friend was a teacher for many years and every time the school decided to trash their posters, he rescued them. He has a collection of around 500 posters now and he gave us some the other day. I thought I'd share them with you.

When I was younger, I saw a movie where there was a fancy looking house and that house had a birdhouse in its yard that was a mini version of the fancy house (American Beauty? I cant remember...). That just stuck with me. I really liked the idea of it. So, last winter when the roof blew off of our little birdhouse, I thought, why not make a birdhouse to match our cute Bavarian home? 

It didn't turn out perfect. There are changes I want to make to it next summer. But, for now, it's good enough. 😉
