Maps.com
Website Redesign 2016
My Role UI/UX, Art Direction, and Design
Goal To get our users to the map they're looking for as quick as possible. The old website was not transparent enough for users to navigate through the large amount of products. |
Solution By speaking with our customer service rep Lynne, I learned what our users needed most. They were struggling to find regional maps like county maps. So, I created a design that focused on the search function followed by a grid leading users to their map subject quickly and clearly. Lynne personally thanked me after the design launched. She said the redesign made her job so much easier and that customers were reaching out to her thankful they could find what they needed without headache.
|
Our users are usually looking for a specific regional map or driving directions, so I made those both easy to access from the home page.
|
This handy grid allowed users to access their map type of choice quickly and easily. Bringing these categories to the homepage in a clear design created a smooth shopping experience.

Classified Concepts Renaming, Rebrand, and Website Design
My Role UX/UI, Art Direction, Design, Branding, and Renaming
Goal Bring Classified Concepts into the modern era with a cleaner brand, simpler name, and easier to navigate website. Site Acqir |
Solution After diving in to what Classified Concepts users were trying to achieve I realized they were all trying to acquire something. So I worked the brand from there, I shortened the word acquire to Acqir to create a unique name for the platform. From there, I grew the brand with color and typography that felt light but strong. After the branding was complete I moved on to re-strategize the website. Stakeholders wanted to focus on Real Estate, Community, and Automotive as the three main targeted groups so I brought those sections to the forefront. Since Acqir is results driven, I made sure to create a case studies section and encourage users to explore that section via the landing page.
