I love the whole vibe of this song.

I wish I understood the lyrics better (I catch a word here or there) but learning German really pushed a lot of Spanish out of my brain. And, since I lived in Germany and understand German better than I ever did anything in Spanish, at the end of the day, I just want to keep learning German. 

I have this fantasy that my life will come together and I'll dedicate each year to a language. Like, I'll have the free time to practice a bunch of German one year, then Spanish the next. Then French, then Russian, then back to German. Then, I remember I HATE learning languages! I LOVE understanding things, but learning a new language is such a painfully slow and arduous task for me and there are literally a million other things I'd rather spend my time doing. 

Sometimes, it's from patterns I see while watching TV. The wallpaper, bedding, clothing, drapes, rugs, and so on. I'm always scanning for interesting patterns.

​Recently, while watching Peaky Blinders, I spotted this lil number in the background. So, I made my own version. I really love the original, It has this elegant touch to it that my version just doesn't have. I'll probably end up redesigning mine someday. 

To honor the Peaky Blinder's gypsy lineage, I gave her a traditional gypsy name, Gillie. 

This song sounds so different from the last song of theirs I posted that I would have never guessed it was from the same band. 

​When I listen to it, it feels like someone made my soul into a song. Feels cheesy to admit but, it's true. There are a couple different versions of this song but the one I'm sharing here is my favorite. This version has a fullness to it that fully envelops me. I don't know how else to describe that feeling. It's so beautiful.
