Elizabeth Hartsell documented 10 years of her life in daily diaries later found by her grandson, Mark. In the podcast, Mark and his co-host, Liz, read through Elizabeth's diary entries and discuss her life. This podcast touched my heart. Elizabeth lived through the Great Depression as a teen, sleeping in a tent even in winter and picking strawberries for money, often going to bed hungry. She was loving and social, often making the best of a hard time. It was a treasure to learn about how life was then from someone who lived it.

I felt genuine sadness when they finished her last diary and it left a hole in my week that was usually filled with stories from her life. 

On a positive note, Mark and Liz are planning on returning this fall (which is right around the corner) with a new set of diaries from someone else, yet to be revealed. 

The podcast inspired me to start keeping my own daily diary, one I wish I had started decades ago. 

I can't remember how I stumbled across this podcast (maybe A16Z suggested it)  but I'm thankful I did. The host Jack Rhysider interviews hackers, scammers, and, my favorite, penetration testers. There are people out there that get paid to break into buildings. I'm so jealous. 

He exposes scams and tells stories about wild events like North Korea hacking into a Bangladesh bank and stealing  millions. 

One of my favorite episodes is EP 90 Jenny, about a woman that works as a Pen tester who took a job overseas that almost cost her her life.

Love this groovy tune. The lyrics are pretty sad but I dig it and can totally relate. "Wo soll ich ihn" means "where should I go?" And, I'm feeling that one hard right now.

​I've been shopping for land for almost two years now. What I'm looking for is very specific so it has made for a challenging search. I finally found a dream property recently, made an offer, offer was accepted. I hired an attorney to transfer the deed because it was not a traditional one only to find out from my attorney that the whole deed situation was such a mess it would be crazy expensive to sort out. 

Since that went down, I've been back to square one wondering where to look next. Where should I go?

Someone posted this song on Instagram. I often don't listen to the songs people post, I know, terrible. But, this one I did and I'm glad I did. There's something familiar about it that I can't quite peg.
