I, probably like a lot of you, had a nice little chuckle when I first heard there was a flat Earth movement. "How could people even remotely believe in something like that?" I thought. And, I made a mental note to dig in and learn about that world, but life got in the way.

Some years later, in 2018, I watched the live feed of SpaceX's Flacon Heavy test flight (That's the one where Elon shot a cherry red Tesla into space). And, I remember thinking, "what do the flat Earthers have to say about that?" When I looked it up, I read that they called it a conspiracy. Claiming that it is a Tesla in a pool and movie effects were used to make it look real.

At the time, it was hard for me to imagine anyone not believing the footage but, after seeing 12 hours of Ewaranon content and rewatching the launch, I can see why some would question it.

The feed does cut out from time to time. The reveal of the Tesla happens so high up that it can only be seen via the cameras on board and not from the naked eye below. I wondered about people being able to see it via telescope. But, only found the same image of a star looking dot that is said to be the Tesla via the Virtual Telescope Project. Here's some news footage on that if you're interested. 

​Weren't people watching this and possibly recording it from their own personal telescopes? If so, where are the photos and videos? If anyone has better telescope footage of the Tesla in space, please post it below in the comments. It would be nice to see it.

I can understand why skeptics aren't convinced.

But, then there's the school that sent an iPhone to space on a ballon. And, it got high enough to where you could see the curve of the Earth...

Swimwear company LainSnow partnered with Spoonflower to create a contest for floral designs that they can use in their next swim line. I created this boho floral design using the oil paint brush in Photoshop. 

The rules called for greens, yellows, and browns and since I hit all of those notes within the floral elements, I decided to submit my design with a navy background. After looking at the swimsuit mocks, I kind of wish I had entered the blush background instead but, what are you gonna do? I don't take these contests that seriously. I enter them because they are a great way to get eyes on my designs and I make almost ALL of my sales from designs I've entered into contests.
