More spring trends have popped up so I decided to make a round two. It's always so interesting to me to see which themes and styles show up over and over again. As usual, these are just the trends I'm seeing pop up in Spoonflower contests. Let's get to it! Wispy FloralsThese florals feature a light colored background overlaid with long and thin floral elements that are all oriented in the same direction and not overlapping. Flowers in DiamondsThe name says it all. These designs are some variation of a handful of flowers inside a diamond shape. Green is a very popular background color for it. It reminds me of my design Doris. Except Doris features insects and seashells instead of flowers. But, now I'm inspired to maybe make a floral version. Aliens! That's right, beings from another world and their crafts. Watercolor Rainbow PlaidReally describes itself, rainbow colored stripes that look painted and cross each other in a plaid style. Clumped Folk Ditsy FloralsNot the most elegant name but that's the best way I could think of to describe this trend. They're folk style flowers at a ditsy size, in these contained clumps, piled next to each other. It reminds me a lot of Thief and Bandit. Orderly Geometrics with DotsThese patterns feature geometric shapes connected by small dots. Strawberries! So many strawberries. They've been popping up a ton lately. Is this a spring fling or a new trend?
