Graphic design and history commingle.

I probably love this YouTube creator so much because she combines two of my favorite things: historical figures and design. She aims to create what these people may have looked like. And, I love a good recreation. It can satisfy the curious side of me that wishes it really knew what historical figures looked like, how they spoke, what they wore, and where they lived. Whenever I see ruins, I always paint a picture, or 10, in my head of what it may have looked like when it was first constructed. What color(s) was it painted, who went there, what did they wear, what did it sound like, and so on. And, I do the same with statues of people, black and white photos, paintings, you get the picture. So, check out her videos below to bring a little history to life today.

Just another song that makes me think of a sleepy summer days.

The singer's voice is like butter. And, I love the beat. So many songs make me want to take a road trip. This is another one of those. Something about the beat, like it could keep the pace with the car flying down an empty highway in the desert.

This podcast is fascinating.

I find myself getting sucked into and excited for the next episode of this podcast. It goes beyond the talking heads of modern politics and dives into what and who are really pulling the strings.

It's refreshing, insightful, and down right interesting.

Even though I'm not religious, I find myself listening to their biblical episodes as well. I've noticed, what really turns me off of religion, besides all the rules, are how arrogant preachers come off. I cannot stand listening to a lecture/being lectured. Especially when you know most people do not practice what they preach.

The way the Iconic guys explain the Bible is so refreshing. There's no ego involved. They're just two people having a discussion and explaining things as they interpret them. It has really opened the door to another world for me.

Upbeat and synth-y.

Me likey. I just want to dance along to the drums and/or go on a road trip with a friend. That's the vibe I get when I listen to this song.
