American Style Week at Lidl

I LOVE American style week at Lidl.

I can't eat any of it because autoimmune diseases suck but, it's still super entertaining and I wish I could sample it all. Some stuff makes sense like 'Chicken Strips' but other stuff leaves me super confused like 'Hamburger Sauce' what the hell is that? That McEnnedy! He's always creating a thing or two that leaves me scratching my head.

I would 100% try all those pizzas if I could. Although, I've never seen 'Hot Dog' style pizza in America, I'm sure it exists somewhere. I wonder if the 'Schnitzel-Tasche' is like a pizza pocket?  

I love Mexican food and am totally down with burritos and enchiladas but there's something really off putting about just dumping the filling out of a can and into a tortilla. 

The Hamburger cookies always make me laugh. I guess selling something like a chocolate chip cookies is not American enough, so they make these little hamburger shaped cookies that are really cute. I wish I knew what they tasted like. 

The mini muffins look legit but when I first saw the Pommes-Snack, I did a double take. They look to be dehydrated fries, kinda like those veggie stick snacks. And, I will never understand why they needed to add curry to the BBQ flavor, like, BBQ is excellent on it's own. 

'Hamburger Sauce' and 'Sandwich Sauce' made me chuckle the first time I saw them. Like, there are a lot of different sauces you can put on a hamburger or a sandwich. 

So I had to do a little investigating. The 'Hamburger Sauce' looks to be a mix between ketchup, mustard, mayo, and CURRY. I'm sure it tastes good, but why do they mix all of those together and why do they add curry to everything?
