Read It - Chinese Propaganda Posters

I bought this book on a lark.

I thought it would be interesting to see how the Chinese did propaganda. I could never have anticipated the pull it would have on my heart. I'm not Chinese. I'm not a fan of communism. But damn, these propaganda posters do their job well. How could you not feel a sense of nostalgia and pride seeing all of these smiling, healthy, beautiful, strong, and capable people? They live in an abundant world, they never look tired, they never look too hot or too cold, sick, overwhelmed, or any other negative emotion that can come along in most people's daily life. Their world looks absolutely peaceful, dreamlike.
